Project Program:
It is 2080, new technologies and dwindling resources will have an impact in our entire built environment. The widespread adoption of digital technologies has led to profound changes in how we live, travel, shop for goods, services, receive news, and manage finances.
Objective:
To create a structure that houses anything from entertainment, retail, living, etc. Also, to consider the use of technology that is conceptualize or researched. Wearable technology is considered to be the next step to the technical advancement by 2080. By focusing in the entertainment area the project is revolved around the viable use of virtual reality. Virtual reality will aim towards theaters, video games, car companies, training simulations, and much more. The video game industry is a structure I wanted to tackle. I wanted to experience to come to the customer so I decided the the structure to actually provide its services autonomously. This will provide a hub for players to enjoy and interact with others.
Concept:
By analyzing the progression of microchips and layouts in computers, a form and shape was derived to make a structure.
