Project Program:
The intention of this project is to design within the variables established by the professor. The first variable, was selecting one of the four common elements like water, fire, wind, or earth. The second, was the use of a mentor that will influence the aesthetics of the design. The third, was the method of construction. The fourth, the site was on a hill side. Lastly, the use of the space had to be established.

Objective:

I decided to go with the water element because of its symbolic meaning. The mentor I decide on was Thomas Heather-wick because he focused on the use of materials in public monuments and sculptures. Moreover, the method of construction was the use of Cut and Fill. Lastly, the use of the space was for Jujitsu.

Concept:

The Jujitsu martial arts combat focuses on the method of hand to hand combat. Its core arrangement include offense and defensive fighting techniques, the fighter analyzes the opponents movements and focuses when to strike back. This led me to the conceptual relation of the push and pull effect.
